Who are the Early Years Alliance and Family Corner

Early Years Alliance

Early Years Alliance (EYA) is the largest, most representative early years membership organisation in England, working to provide early education and support for babies, young children and their families, particularly in areas of disadvantage. A registered educational charity, we represent 14,000 members and support them to deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year.

EYA believes every child should have opportunities to learn through play, and that families should be empowered to support their child’s learning and development. The EYA mission is to ensure that all children, regardless of background or circumstances, are given the best possible start in life.

The combination of inclusive quality early learning experiences, parent participation and support services for families delivered as early as possible in children’s lives, are key in raising educational attainment, maintaining positive health and wellbeing and improving outcomes for all children.

Family Corner

Family Corner is the family arm of the Early Years Alliance. Founded to reach more parents and carers, it is a safe space for you to learn more about your child’s development and how to keep your child happy and safe.

Our experts regularly create new articles to highlight opportunities for learning. We also hold a regular schedule of virtual learning events on various topics like communication and development, as well as one-off learning events on timely topics.
